Adoption Process
Step One: Fill Out Your Application Form
Get started with your puppy adoption by filling out our application form and telling us a bit about yourself. Once you send in your application, we will reach out within one to three days to let you know if you’ve been approved.
All puppies are on a first-come, first-serve basis, puppies are not held until an approved application &ย deposit is received. You may apply to adopt an available puppy or put your name on a waiting list for an upcoming litter. Puppies are chosen by families with deposits at approximately 3-4 weeks old. Families will select their puppy in order of deposit date.
Step Two: Make Your Deposit
Now that your application has been approved, it’s time to make your non-refundable deposit. Non-refundable Deposits are $400 per puppy regardless of size, color of coat type. Once your deposit is received your name will either go on the puppy you’ve selected or our waitlist if you’ve chosen to select a puppy from a future litter.ย

Step Three: Choosing Your Puppy
We provide a group puppy picture at approximately 1-week old and individual puppy pictures at approximately 3 weeks, 4 weeks & the final still photos done at 5 weeks for adoptive families to choose from. We then provide a video between 6 & 7 weeks of age for you to enjoy.
For the safety of our puppies and adult dogs, we do not allow in-person selections. Once you have placed a deposit, we provide you with the weekly photos and a video.ย See our full visitor policy here.
Step Four: Preparing to Bring Your Puppy Home
While we may have a general idea when your puppy will be born and when they’ll be ready to go home, future litter dates tend to be up in the air a bit. The earlier you place your deposit, the more pups you will have to choose from. As we cannot guarantee litter sizes, we only take 4 male, ย 4 female deposits for a mini litter prior to being born and 3 male, 3 female deposits for a micro-petite litter prior to being born. We will open the deposits list back up once born for additional puppies.
While you’re waiting for your puppy to be born or for the 8-week going home day, there are several things you can do to prepare to bring your puppy home.

- Decide Where the Puppy’s Crate Will Stay
- Take a Puppy-Moon Vacationโโ
Your puppy is also preparing to go home! During this time they are getting thorough vet exams, their first rounds of vaccinations and micro-chipped by a licensed/accredited veterinarian. We will include their vaccination records, micro-chip info and their 3-year health guarantee in your going home packet.ย

Step Five: Bringing Your Puppy Home
At 8 weeks old mini/medium puppies are ready to go home! At 9 weeks micro/petite puppies are ready to go home! Puppy pickups are by appointment only, and generally happen on Saturday afternoons. We’ll alert you well in advance which Saturday to leave open. One week prior to pickup we’ll assign you a block of time when you can pickup your puppy, meet us and get more information on grooming, care and veterinarian follow ups. The remaining final payment will be due upon pickup. We’ll also have a pack of goodies to take home with you.

Special Deliveries:
We offer puppy delivery in Wisconsin or to the Wisconsin border of your choice as well as hand to hand flight delivery with a Private Puppy Nanny to an airport of your choice within the US. In state deliveries and hand-to-hand flight deliveries available on case-by-case basis, please contact us for details and pricing.

"Just wanted to share we are having so much fun with Shyiah!!! She has been the easiest puppy I've ever had! We have been working on our manners and she's so smart! Literally taught her heal yesterday and the day before lay down! Of course right now she's treat motivated, but we work everyday! We went to TN she did amazing with the truck ride!no puking!! She loved the camper and camping! She does amazing on her leash too! Few accidents in the camper but that's to be expected cuz, it's new! She’s still the best puppy ever!! Today we put up the tree and she was so cute grabbing the big Christmas bulbs by their string and running around the house with it! And now she’s laying next to me snuggling, I just love her to pieces!!!
